When moving through time and space, moments taken to understand our physical surroundings are usually unconscious trials that occur several times daily. These moments tend to be more powerful when alone – a single moment can be a focused and concentrated analysis of how you are in a space.

These moments provoke sensations, varying from nostalgia of a fonder time, apperception of a connected object, existentialism and our reality, or solely beauty. This project seeks to explore the concept of liminal space, the transitional zones between spaces, both physical and psychological, and their relationship with the globally familiar sense of loneliness, using photographs as a medium.
